Is the game free?
Yes. Five daily games, the bonus round, the League and clubs — all free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.
What is the League?
A week-long competition in a group of up to thirty players. We pick your opponents — a new group every Monday. After seven days the top of the table moves up a tier and the bottom moves down; there are five tiers, from the Palaestra to Olympus. Your tier comes from last week, not from seniority.
How is a club different from the League?
A club is private and you decide who is in it. You start it, send round a code or a link, and the table adds everyone up — up to a hundred people, with your own name and crest. The League is the opposite: you play strangers, picked automatically.
Do I need friends in the game?
No. You join the League on your own and we hand you the opponents. Clubs are an extra for people who already have someone to play with.
Do I need an account?
Not to play. The daily puzzles, your streak, level and badges work without an account and stay on your device. An account is created only when you join the League or a club — because that is where someone on the other side is needed. We ask for no e-mail and no password, and you can delete the account at any time: Settings → Delete account.
I do not want to play against the clock
Turn on easy mode: the same boards, but with no clock, no points and no limit on attempts. Nothing is recorded anywhere — the League, your tier and your streak wait where they are until you come back to competing. You choose on first launch and change it in settings.
Does it work without internet?
The app does, completely — the boards are built on the device, so you can play on the underground or on a plane. The browser trial needs the page to load and plays one fixed day; a new set every day comes with the app. The League and club tables need a connection in both versions, because they come from the server.
Does everyone get the same boards?
Yes — that is what makes the competition fair. Every day every player gets an identical set, which is why results can be compared at all.
Does the game collect my data?
While you play alone we send not a single byte to the server. When you join the League or a club, your nickname, the day’s scores and your playing time go there; without them there is no table. We collect no e-mail, no location and no contacts, and we have no ads, no advertising identifier and no analytics tools. The full list is in the privacy policy.
